PRODUCTS WE LOVE

We delight in discovering products made by sustainably-minded companies. At this time we do not earn a commission via referrals; we share simply to spread the good word about good products.

PHILOSOPHER FOODS ALMOND BUTTER

If you love the taste and nutrition of almond butter, but not the environmental toll it takes to make it, then try Philosopher Foods. Their ingredients are “certified organic, fair trade where certification is possible, and meticulously sourced”.* Soon they’ll be the first ever almond butter company to be Regenerative Organic Certified.

Philosopher Foods partnered with the orchard pictured here, which exemplifies some of the top 25 solutions to climate change with their agricultural practices.

When we choose products like this one, the companies that make them are able to grow. When mindful companies thrive, the consciously-chosen resources they depend on thrive as well, including regenerative farmers, humanely-raised animals and the land itself.

It’s a mind-blowingly delicious way to be a conscious citizen along the continuum.

AND THE GOOD NEWS IS…

New sources of funding are paying farmers to adopt sustainable and regenerative practices, and the interest shown from conventional farmers is overwhelmingly impressive. This article details the launch of the NY Outcomes Fund in partnership with the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability and others, which will help New York State farmers transition to practices that generate science-based carbon reductions and water quality improvements.

When money comes down to earth to support these projects, our food improves, our quality of life is enhanced, and the planet regenerates. It’s a triple win that happening right NOW.
